Tonight's Forecast:
After an amazing Christmas Day for Southern Colorado, we'll see clear skies and cold temperatures tonight across the region. Outside of the mountains and mountain valleys, overnight lows will cool down to the 10s, 20s and lower 30s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 26; High: 59. We have one more great day of weather ahead on Saturday, with mild highs, partly cloudy skies and fairly light winds for the Pikes Peak Region.

PUEBLO: Low: 19; High: 62. With a dry airmass hanging around Southern Colorado on Saturday, we'll see a cold morning give way to a mild and beautiful afternoon. Enjoy it because changes are coming on Sunday!

CANON CITY: Low: 32; High: 60. More gorgeous weather ahead on Saturday. Highs will warm into the lower 60s, with west winds in the afternoon sustained at 10-15 mph.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 21; High: 49. The last weekend of December will start out with more unseasonably mild air and partly cloudy skies. Enjoy!

TRI-LAKES: Low: 20s; High: 50s. On Saturday, we'll see a mix of sun and clouds and more unseasonably mild temperatures across northern El Paso County.

PLAINS: Low: 20s; High: 50s/60s. No big changes to this mild and sunny weather on Saturday as highs across the Plains will warm into the 50s and lower 60s.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 20s/30s; High: 50s. Chilly lows and mild highs will add up to another great day, with unseasonably warm temperatures for this time of the year.

MOUNTAINS: Low: 10s/20s; High: 30s/40s. We'll see few more clouds in the mountains on Saturday, with a few snow showers possible heading into Saturday night. The best chances of accumulating snowfall will be across the state's northern and central mountain ranges.

Extended Outlook:
A weak cold front will bring about 10-15 degrees of cooling to Southern Colorado on Sunday, and some stronger breezes to the forecast. Moisture will increase behind the front as the next storm rolls through early next week. At this point, the storm will favor the mountains with the heaviest snow and highest accumulations. It's still a little uncertain what the storm will bring to the Plains, but that information should become clearer through the weekend. For now, our forecast east of the mountains is calling for Monday night and Tuesday snow showers, gusty winds and colder temperatures.
