A cold Halloween night is followed by sunshine Friday

Tonight’s Forecast: By 10 pm temperatures drop the to 20s and winds start to shift to the north. A cold front moves in from the north tonight, impacting the I-25 corridor to the Plains with gusty north winds through the morning. This will create a wind chill heading out the door Friday morning, with air temperatures in the teens, feeling about 5 degrees cooler.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 17; High: 36. Tomorrow expect mostly sunny conditions with temperatures rising to the mid 30s.

PUEBLO: Low: 14; High: 38. Sunny and breezy tomorrow, with afternoon temperatures in the upper 30s.

CANON CITY: Low: 18; High: 39. Cold start, with light wind. The afternoon will be sunny in the upper 30s.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 14; High: 33. A cold start with mostly clear conditions. Temperatures will rise to the low 30s and hover just above freezing for a high.

TRI-LAKES: Low: teens; High: 20s. Cold start Friday and staying chilly through the afternoon to the upper 20s. The sky will be sunny and winds will be breezy from the north.

PLAINS: Low: teens; High: 30s/40s. Starting cold in the morning, but becoming warmer to the upper 30s and low 40s for highs Friday. Winds will be breezy from the north, especially in the morning.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: teens; High: 30s. Starting in the teens Friday morning and reaching the mid to upper 30s later. The sky will be clear with generally light winds.

Extended Outlook: The weather pattern becomes less active for the weekend and into next week. Temperatures rebound to the 40s and 50s in the Plains and front range, to the 30s and 40s in the mountains and mountain valleys. Sunshine and dry weather look to be the status quo.
