Extended Outlook:

This next storm brings snow to the mountain peaks, but trends mostly dry east of the continental divide. Several rounds of cooler air leave next week closer to average, in the 40s. We are seeing the first signs of the next snowmaker, favoring the south and southeastern portions of the state on Friday and Saturday. Stay tuned.
