Snow expected overnight in northern El Paso County

Tonight’s Forecast:

We’re under a  Weather Alert night, mainly for Northern El Paso and Teller Counties, as a weak storm passing through tonight will drop some rain,  then snow showers across the region.

Any flakes south of Colorado Springs will be minimal.  It is possible for a quick couple inches of rain/snow mix to fall Teller County and Northern El Paso County. The area primarily impacted will be north of Briargate.

It will all end early Saturday, with partial clearing later in the day, only to see another weak disturbance set off a few mostly snow showers late in the day Sunday.

Beyond that, skies begin to clear up and temps warm up into the 50s, 60s and near 70 through next week.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low: 26, High: 38. Snow showers tonight, a slushy inch? Early flurries Saturday, then partial clearing through the day.

PUEBLO: Low: 34, High: 44. A few rain showers tonight. A few sprinkles early Saturday, then partial clearing.

CANON CITY: Low: 33, High: 42. A few rain showers tonight. Sprinkles early Saturday, then slow clearing.

WOODLAND PARK: Low: 16, High: 33. Snow showers tonight, a slushy 2 inches. Early flurries Saturday, then partial clearing through the day.

TRI-LAKES: Low: 18, High: 34. Snow showers tonight, a slushy 2 inches. Early flurries Saturday, then partial clearing through the day.

PLAINS: Low: 35, High: 46. A few rain showers tonight. Showers early Saturday, then slow clearing.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low: 32, High: 40. A few rain showers tonight. Slow clearing Saturday.

Extended Outlook: Flurries late Sunday (40s), Mostly sunny and warmer Monday (50s), and even warmer Tuesday & Wednesday.
