Today’s Forecast:
Not much to say about the forecast today, other than it looks amazing! The first day of Spring will be met with blue skies, light winds, and warm afternoon temperatures. The winds will stay light and the skies clear as we pass into this evening, meaning temperatures will get pretty chilly tonight.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 54; Low – 27. Sunny skies, light winds, and warm afternoon temps.

PUEBLO: High – 61; Low – 25. Sunny skies, light winds, and great afternoon temps.

CANON CITY: High – 58; Low – 28. Sunny skies, light winds, and nice afternoon temps.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 46; Low – 23. Sunny skies, light winds, and cool afternoon temps.

TRI-LAKES: High – 40/50s; Low – 20s. Sunny skies, light winds, and pleasant afternoon temps.

PLAINS: High – 60s; Low – 20s. Sunny skies, light winds, and very warm afternoon temps.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 50s; Low – 20s. Sunny skies, light winds, and warm afternoon temps.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
Clouds return Thursday afternoon but temperatures should actually be about a degree or two warmer for most places in the region. While a few sprinkles or flurries could show up around the southern Front Range of Teller and Fremont counties Thursday night, most of the rain and snow we’ll see this week arrives on Friday. Elevations below 7,000 feet will likely just see rain Friday afternoon through the evening, but some snow will fall in the mountains, especially Friday evening. Saturday looks amazing but we’re watching a system closely that could bring heavy snow Sunday night to Monday morning.
