Brutal morning but back above freezing this afternoon!

Today’s Forecast:
A nasty morning out across southern Colorado as lows overnight give us a morning in the single digits! Sunshine and dry air will work together to push highs back above freezing this afternoon, although the breeze will still make it feel pretty chilly at times. Another cold night is expected this evening with lows falling back into the teens by Saturday morning.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 35; Low – 15. Mostly sunny with a chilly and breezy afternoon.

PUEBLO: High – 39; Low – 10. Sunny skies with a cool and breezy afternoon.

CANON CITY: High – 37; Low – 19. Mostly sunny with a chilly and breezy afternoon.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 34; Low – 16. A few clouds with a cold and breezy afternoon.

TRI-LAKES: High – 30s; Low – 10s. Mostly sunny with a chilly and breezy afternoon.

PLAINS: High – 40s; Low – 10s. Sunny skies with a cool and breezy afternoon.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 40s; Low – 20s. Mostly sunny with a pleasant and breezy afternoon.


EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
Expect another cold morning for Saturday with lows dropping into the teens and low 20s to start the day. Saturday afternoon will be the best day to get outside with highs warming into the 40s and 50s through the afternoon! A cold front makes Sunday windy and cooler with highs back into the 40s and even colder by Monday with highs back into the 30s. No rain or snow is in our forecast for the next week, other than out west into the high country.
