Fog will be dense at times during the morning but it will quickly burn off as we warm up. Strong winds will run down the mountains today, with warm air following the winds into the afternoon. The usual very windy spots like Cheyenne Mountain, Air Force Academy and Walsenburg will all see gusts to and over 40 mph at times today, but through Colorado Springs the gusts will be more likely in the 30 mph range at their worst with Pueblo and the plains in the 20 mph range. Other than a few light snows in the morning over the southern mountains, most of southern Colorado stays completely dry today.
