Today’s Forecast:
Arctic high pressure has slid down the front range and very cold air is being pulled from deep into Canada and out over southern Colorado. Highs will be in the upper 20s and lower 30s through the lower elevations, with a similar temperature spread through the mountains. Luckily, the winds will be light today but even a light breeze around 10 mph will make it feel close to 20 degrees in the afternoon!

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 29; Low – 18. Mostly cloudy with a chilly light breeze in the afternoon.

PUEBLO: High – 33; Low – 17. Mostly cloudy light to gentle winds in the afternoon and cold temps.

CANON CITY: High – 34; Low – 22. Mostly cloudy with a chilly afternoon breeze.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 32; Low – 18. Mostly cloudy with a light wind chilly temps.

TRI-LAKES: High – 20s; Low – 10s. Mostly cloudy with a light wind and chilly temps.

PLAINS: High – 30s; Low – 10s. Mostly cloudy with afternoon breeze and cold temps.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 30s; Low – 10s. Mostly cloudy with afternoon breeze and cold temps.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
Cold air will continue to show up in the mornings through the extended forecast, but the highs will keep warming well into next week! Rain and snow from a system moving through California will stay south of Colorado on Friday and Saturday, and we have no solid snow chances in the foreseeable future. Highs by Monday and Tuesday will be in the mid to upper 50s across the lower elevations!
