REST OF THE WEEK: More cloud cover in the mix on Wednesday. Despite the clouds and chilly start it should be our warmest day of this week with highs in the 40’s to low 50’s. A cold front drops temperatures back into the 20’s and low 30’s on Thursday. That cold will be short lived with a nice warming trend heading into next week. Clouds stick around through at least Friday. The next system looks to stay south of our area. Models have been going back and forth a bit as to how far north the precipitation potential with this system will extend. The most abundant activity looks to stay south of hwy 50 so for now we’ll just keep a small chance in the forecast for Friday. Sunshine returns for the weekend and the start of the new week. Temperatures look to warm into the 50’s by the start of the new work and school week.
