It was a windy day along the Colorado Front Range for much of the day, with some gusts over 50 mph recorded. Unfortunately, another gusty day is in store tomorrow. Southern Colorado will miss most of the snow, but the mountains and areas in neighboring states will see more from this storm.
The mountains could see as much as two feet of snow in some spots. If you’re traveling on I-70 into the mountains, this weekend, expect big delays and slick conditions. You should check road conditions before heading out.
Here locally, that storm will pass over southern Colorado tomorrow, bringing more strong winds. Highs will top out early in the day before a strong cold front brings rain and snow showers in the afternoon and evening. Accumulations will be less than an inch in most spots, but visibility will be low because of blowing snow.
