LARAMIE, WY — Last Thursday, Wyoming junior guard & former Vista Ridge Wolf completed a momentous feet in his collegiate career.
The Colorado Springs native reached the 1,000 point mark at Wyoming in the Cowboys game against Colorado State.
The Pokes ended up losing the game to the Rams on a last-second bucket.
"I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to coach him," said Wyoming head coach Jeff Linder. "I mean, he is a guy that wants to be here. He wants to see things turn for the better and we are."
Maldonado becomes the 3rd Colorado native, and 39th overall player in Wyoming history to accomplish the feat.
