COLORADO SPRINGS — One night after scoring a career high 20 points in a win over Fort Lewis College, Alijah Comithier recorded another career high after dropping 28 points Saturday against Adams State University. Blend Avdili matched a season high 24 points as the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's basketball team notched a 92-85 win over the Grizzlies.
UCCS (10-4, 6-3 RMAC) improves to 7-2 at Gallogly Events Center and have won four straight games at home. The Grizzlies drop to 6-10 on the season and 3-6 in league games.
The Grizzlies' Juwan Green led all players with 37 points behind 13 field goals and 8-of-8 free throws.
UCCS will travel to South Dakota on Jan. 17-18 to take on Black Hills State University and South Dakota School of Mines.
