The Colorado College men's hockey team is starting to find their groove on the ice after sweeping St. Cloud State at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.

"You can pull an awful lot of positive stuff from it," head coach Mike Haviland said.

Six different players found the back of the net and Matt Vernon made 47 total saves in the 4-2 and 5-2 victories over the Huskies.

With the two wins, the Tigers improve to 4-3-1 on the season and will look to continue their solid play at No. 9 Minnesota-Duluth next weekend.

"Keep improving on it and going back to it, throughout the year but obviously you want to keep building on it," Haviland said. "Keep that momentum going in the right direction,we're 2-0-1 in our last 3 games, 7 of 9 points in the league which is what you want to do and you have to continue to get points."
