After nearly two weeks off, the Colorado College men's hockey team (7-8-1, 2-5-1 NCHC) returns to action this weekend.
The Tigers host Miami (OH) this Friday and Saturday at Broadmoor World Arena, looking to build some momentum heading into the back end of their season.
"I just think bring the consistency of playing the right way," senior forward Chris Wilkie (13 goals, 7 assists) said. "This team has the potential to get on a run, it just starts with doing things the right way."
Currently four points out of the No. 4 spot in the NCHC, head coach Mike Haviland knows the key to moving up in the standings is for his team to bring their "A" game every night down the stretch.
"We've played the ninth-hardest schedule in the country to this point," Haviland said. "It hasn't been easy and it's not going to get any easier moving forward. I think it even gets harder, so we just have to worry about playing our game, one game at a time. All the old cliches, just one weekend, we can't look too far ahead but it's all there for us."
Puck drop against the RedHawks is set for 7:37 p.m. on Friday night and 6:07 p.m. Saturday in the series finale.
