NCHC announces changes to postseason tournament format

The Colorado College men's hockey team fell to Omaha 5-0 Friday night at Baxter Arena.

Trailing 1-0 heading into the third period, the Tigers gave up four goals in the final 20 minutes to drop their third contest of the year to the Mavericks.

CC had their chances in the game but failed to convert, going 0-for-5 in power play opportunities.

Freshman goaltender Matt Vernon made 23 in the loss as the team fell to 10-17-2 and 3-14-2 in NCHC play.

Both teams return to the ice tomorrow to finish their season series, puck drop is set for 7 p.m.
