COLORADO SPRINGS — The Switchbacks FC have announced their revised schedule for the 2020 USL Championship season.

Colorado Springs will play 15 games, eight at home, over the next 13 weeks.

The team gets back to work this weekend with an intrasquad game at Weidner Field on July 4th. Next Saturday, their season is officially rebooted when New Mexico United comes to town for the home opener.

Head coach Alan Koch's squad will then travel to play Real Monarchs SLC before coming back to face Austin Bold on July 26th.

In August and September, Switchbacks FC will play 11 total games, hosting six and traveling for the other five.

Colorado Springs' home finale is Sept 26th against Salt Lake City before closing out the 2020 regular season at FC Tulsa on October 3rd.

Switchbacks FC opened their season with a 2-1 win on March 7th at Oklahoma City. The victory will count towards the team's overall standings.

Placed in Group C for the restart of the year, the football club will battle El Paso, New Mexico and Salt Lake City four times with three matchups against teams in their close geographic proximity.

The 16 teams with the top records will advance to the playoffs in early October.
