EL PASO COUNTY — Both the Pine Creek Eagles and the Palmer Ridge Bears are hoping for a win on Saturday to punch their ticket into the State finals for Colorado high school football.

No. 1 Pine Creek enters Saturday hoping for its third trip to the 4A finals in four years. The Eagles have outscored opponents 103-30 through the first two rounds of the playoffs.

The Eagles will take on a Pueblo West team they beat earlier in the year, 41 to 13 with senior running back David Moore III scoring four rushing touchdowns in that game.

No. 4 Palmer Ridge will look to get into their 3rd straight 3A playoffs after winning state the past two years. The only thing standing in their way is Green Mountain, who upset No. 1 Mead last weekend.
