PUEBLO — On Thursday, the South Central League, made of team from Pueblo District 60 & 70, announced updates their Season B and how the conference will navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to a release, due to COVID-19 and the low numbers of officials available this season, the South Central League (SCL) will be adjusting the boys and girls basketball schedules.

Girls’ basketball games will be played on Mondays and Thursdays and boys’ basketball games will be played on Tuesdays and Fridays. The second round of league games will switch with boys basketball games being played on Monday and Thursday and girls basketball being played on Tuesday and Friday.

Per the Pueblo City-County Health Department, the variance for spectators allowed at each level of play is fifty.

Visiting spectators, from non SCL teams, will not be allowed in. Only SCL spectators will be allowed in and the limit is 25 per team.

The South Central League Wrestling schedule will stay the same.

Per the Pueblo City-County Health Department, the variance for spectators allowed for each level of wrestling is fifty. League wrestling duals will take place on Wednesdays.

Swim dual meets will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Only home team spectators will be allowed in the pool and seating will be limited.
