COLORADO SPRINGS — On Monday night, two marquee match-ups took place in Colorado Springs.
The No. 1 3A team, the Vanguard Lady Coursers, hosted conference foe Lamar, in a make-up game from last week's snow day.
Vanguard had no issue taking down the Lady Savages, 67 to 32, to remain undefeated & hand Lamar their second loss of the season.
The Lady Coursers will host Ellicott on Thursday, while Lamar will remain on the road to take on James Irwin.
On the boy's side, Sand Creek & Falcon battled it out all the way into the 4th quarter with the Scorpions edging out the Falcons at home 72 to 68.
With the win, the Scorpions move to 6-2, while the Falcons fall to an even 4-4.
Sand Creek will now host TCA on Wednesday with Falcon also having a home game on Wednesday against Elizabeth.
