RMAC delays decision for fall sports

COLORADO SPRINGS — The fall sports season for the CSU-Pueblo Thunderwolves and the UCCS Mountain Lions are still up in the air on Friday night.

In a tweet sent out on Thursday night, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced they would be delaying their decision on if the conference would play sports this fall.

"The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Presidents' Council deferred a decision on any modification to the Fall Sports season in a meeting in conducted," their statement read. "The Council cited the delayed release of the NCAA Resocialization of Collegiate Sports guidelines as the primary reason for postponing any further considerations."

The statement goes onto to say that the RMAC takes student-athlete's health and safety very seriously and that they will review the new guidelines and make a decision from there.

There is currently no date to set for announce the conference decision.
