The Pueblo West Cyclones, the Sand Creek Scorpions & the Pine Creek Eagles were in tight playoff game on Saturday.
In the end, only the Cyclones would come out victorious in CHSAA high school boy's basketball playoffs.
West would edge out Sand Creek, 50 to 47 at home to advance to the Sweet 16 and face Harrison on Wednesday at 7 P.M. at Harrison High School.
The loss ends the Scorpions season at 16-9.
As for Pine Creek, the Eagles would lose on a Broomfield's Grant Swenson buzzer beater, 56 to 55.
The loss ends Pine Creek's season at 20-4.
