PUEBLO — A Pueblo South football captain has decided to play close to home.
On Friday night, Colt senior wide receiver & safety Luke Guarienti committed to the CSU Pueblo football program, per his Twitter account.
"This is a day that I can honestly say I've waited my whole life for," said Guarienti in his post. "I cannot express how ready I am to be a Thunderwolf and I'm ready to continue to work hard, put my head down & compete for my hometown. I want to thank all of the coaches at CSU-P for taking a chance on me and allowing me the shot to be apart of a world-class program."
The senior, who led the Colts in catches, receiving yards & receiving touchdowns, also went onto to thank everyone at Pueblo South football, RUTH productions & his family.
