No. 11 CSU-Pueblo shuts out Black Hills State for 7th straight win

PUEBLO — The No. 11 CSU-Pueblo Thunderwolves shut out Black Hills State on Saturday, 58-0 in an RMAC conference game.

The win moved the Pack to 9-1 overall and 8-1 in RMAC play with one regular season game left. CSU-Pueblo dominated in all areas with 493 yards of offense to 225 by the Yellow Jackets (2-8, 2-8 RMAC). The defense continued the pick party and totaled five interceptions (occurring on the final five BHSU possessions) with one pick six that was returned 100 yards to the house. The defense has 23 interceptions on the season and 19 in the last six games. Special teams was impressive with 111 yards of punt return yards and an average of 43.2 yards per punt.

The Thunderwolves are back at the Thunderbowl next Saturday against Western Colorado for Senior day and the final game of the regular season.
