COLORADO SPRINGS — The U.S. Air Force Academy announced Tuesday that the NHL canceled Pine Creek and Lewis Palmer's hockey game at Falcon Stadium due to weather conditions, according to USAFA's Associate Athletics Director Troy Garnhart. USAFA was closed to non-mission essential personnel and visitors.

This game would have marked the first time a high school hockey game was played at Falcon Stadium.

The Pine Creek and Lewis-Palmer hockey teams were set to play a game at Falcon Stadium at 8 p.m., according to Dan Mohrmann of CHSAANow. Now, the teams have a rescheduled game at Cadet Ice Arena with a 9 p.m. puck drop.

The two teams were set to play on the rink at Falcon Stadium that was constructed for this past weekend's NHL Stadium Series showdown.
