Mines hands No. 1 UCCS first loss of the year; wins RMAC tournament championship

COLORADO SPRINGS — The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's soccer team finishes as the 2019 RMAC Tournament Runner-Up after falling to Colorado School of Mines at a final score of 2-0 at Mountain Lion Stadium on Saturday.

No. 1 UCCS (19-1-0, 13-0-0 RMAC) was shutout for the first time this season as they ended the contest outshooting No. 16 Colorado School of Mines (18-2-1, 11-1-1 RMAC) 19-3 with both teams matching each other in shots on goal at seven a piece.

With the conference tournament officially over, the Mountain Lions will now await the NCAA Selection Show on Monday, Nov. 18 at 4 p.m. where the NCAA Tournament seedings and hosting schools will be announced.
