COLORADO SPRINGS — A tight boy's basketball contest went down at Liberty High School on Tuesday night.
The Lancers hosted red-hot Rampart with a first place in the Pikes Peak Athletic Conference on the line.
Despite two last second three-point attempts, Liberty was able to hold on and beat Rampart, 75 to 72.
The Lancers now move to 5-1 overall (4-0 in conference) and take sole possession of first place in the conference, while the Rams drop to 5-2 (4-1 in conference).
Liberty will now hit the road to face Air Academy on Friday, while Rampart will host Pine Creek on Friday.
