COLORADO SPRINGS — The Harrison Panthers and the Classical Academy Titans picked up wins on Saturday afternoon to advance in the 4A boy's basketball state tournament.
The No. 7 Panthers hosted rival No. 39 Sierra at home and were able to take down the Stallions, 55 to 28.
Tayzhean Archuleta led the way with 16 points. Harrison will now host Pueblo West next Wednesday at 7 P.M. at Harrison High School.
The loss ends Sierra's season at 10-14.
For the Titans, there game against Mitchell was tight to the end. TCA was able to pull out the 45 to 40 win over the Marauders.
TCA will now face Skyline in the Sweet 16, as Mitchell's season ends at 12-12.
