Here on Friday Football Fever we show you our picks of the three best plays of the night, then you vote! We'll announce the winner on Monday night in News5 at 6 p.m.
Our first play of the night comes from Lamar versus Trinidad - and it is something you rarely see in a football game - an offensive lineman scoring a touchdown. Lamar's quarterback Zane Ranklin finds Damian Ramos on the screen pass. Ramos breaks free, then hands the ball of to his offensive lineman, Devyn Kincade, who rolls in for the touchdown. Lamar finished the game with a 53-0 score.
Our second play of the night comes from Riverdale Ridge versus Mitchell. The Ravens' quarterback Aiden Burns drops back to bass and his throw is off the defender's helmet and into the arms of Kory Davis. But during the return, Davis fumbles, and the Ravens recover as they go on to win.
And our third play of the night comes from Rampart's stunning 17-14 win over Fountain-Fort Carson. In the final drive of the game, Cale Cormaney picks off Tavian Tuli's pass down the middle. This is a huge win for Rampart as the team is now holding a 4-1 record this year.
