Here on Friday Football Fever we show you our picks of the three best plays of the night, then you vote! We'll announce the winner on Monday night in News5 at 6 p.m.
Our first play of the night comes from Garry Berry Stadium on Thursday night with Discovery Canyon making two pick-6's on Mitchell. Including one where Justin Pruitt snags the ball and takes it 92 yards to the house. The Thunder were making a lot of noise, winning their opener 48-14.
The second play of the night comes from Vista Ridge vs Palmer as sophomore quarterback Brayden Dorman hits the floater to senior Keyon Burris. He barely kept it in bounds, as the replay shows. Vista Ridge went on to dominate the game with a final score of 66 to 12.
And our final play coming from Fountain-Fort Carson vs Coronado as Q Jones leaves no question on this one carrying it right up the gut, off the defender, and then bouncing it to the outside for the Trojan 40-yard touchdown. It was one of many Fountain-Fort Carson touchdowns on the night as they cruise to a 54-0 win.
