COLORADO SPRINGS — Saturday afternoon saw a slew of local high school basketball games in Colorado Springs.
In the early tip-off, Fountain-Fort Carson welcomed top-ranked Falcon to town.
The Lady Falcons, a scrappy-all hands on deck group, pushed past the Lady Trojans, 52 to 44, for their first road win.
Falcon will look to remain undefeated (2-0) on Tuesday as they play another road game against Sierra, while FFC will face Cheyenne Mountain at home on Monday.
Keeping it with the girl's, a clash of top 15 teams took place at St. Mary's high school on Saturday.
The Lady Pirates took on the Lady Panthers, pulling out the home victory 66 to 56.
It was the first win for first-year head coach Kyle Burkett.
St. Mary's will now host James Irwin on Monday, while continue their road trip with a game at Calhan on Thursday.
On the boy's side, the Doherty Spartans rolled over the Palmer Terrors, 76 to 50 on Saturday.
With the win, the Spartans remain undefeated (3-0) and will hit the road on Monday to face Palmer Ridge.
Palmer will look to get back over .500 on Tuesday in a road game at Harrison.
Speaking of Harrison, the Panthers welcomed Pueblo East to Harrison High school on Saturday.
In a back and forth game, the Eagles would pull out the narrow 39-38 win in their first game of the season.
Pueblo East will be back in action on Tuesday when they face Pueblo West on the road.
