Falcons fall to Army in shootout, 4-3

In a thrilling Atlantic Hockey Association showdown, Air Force and Army skated to a 3-3 overtime time at Tate Rink in West Point, N.Y. Friday night.

Scoring in the ninth round of the shootout, the Black Knights earned the extra point in the league standings.

Despite giving up a 3-2 lead in the final minute, the Falcons extended their unbeaten streak to six games (3-0-3) with Luke Manning, Brandon Koch and Willie Reim each finding the back of the net on the evening.

Army outshot Air Force, 36-35, sophomore Alex Schilling tied his career high with 33 saves for the Falcons. Army goalie Trevin Kozlowski made 32 for the Black Knights.

Air Force (6-9-4, 6-5-4 AHA) and Army conclude the two-game AHA series on Saturday.
