The Colorado College hockey team jumped out to a 4-0 lead and never looked back in a 6-2 win against Air Force Friday night at Broadmoor World Arena.
The first of two games for this year's Pikes Peak Trophy, five different Tigers scored in the win over their crosstown rivals. Including Chris Wilkie, who tallied his 19th goal of the season and two goals from Connor Mayer.
Goaltender Matt Vernon made 27 saves in the victory as CC improved to 9-16-2 on the season.
With the loss, the Falcons fall to 8-15-5 and will hope to even the score Monday night.
