COLORADO SPRINGS — According to Colorado College athletics, the Tigers hockey program has been shutdown due to a player testing positive for COVID-19 after CC's recent road trip to North Dakota.

This is the second time this year the team will have to be in quarantine; the first being when the team had to wait two weeks before entering 'the Pod' in Omaha to start the season.

Based on that timetable of the positive test, the Tigers series against Denver on Jan. 29-30 and Omaha on Feb. 4-5 will not go as scheduled.

The Gold Pan Trophy Series was already rescheduled due to COVID-19 concerns with the Pioneers earlier this season.

The National Collegiate Hockey Conference has not yet announced any make-up dates for the two series.
