GRAND FORKS, N.D. — Shane Pinto scored a pair of goals and Adam Scheel had 15 saves to lead third-ranked North Dakota to a 5-0 victory over Colorado College Sunday at Ralph Engelstad Arena.

Collin Adams added a goal and an assist, while Matt Kierstad and Jake Sanderson each collected a pair of helpers for the Fighting Hawks, who improved to 12-3-1.

The loss drops CC to 3-11-1 on the season, which now includes a 7-game losing streak. It is also the third straight series the Tigers have been swept.

Colorado College resumes the Battle for the Gold Pan with a two-game series against Denver on Friday, Jan. 29, and Saturday, Jan. 30, the final regular-season games at the Broadmoor World Arena.
