COLORADO SPRINGS — Former Colorado College hockey star Chris Wilkie has found his new home on the ice.

Wilkie signed an American Hockey League contract with the Rockford IceHogs for the 2020-21 season, the organization announced on Friday.

Rockford is the AHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Chicago Blackhawks.

Wilkie led the Tigers with 31 points and tied for second in the nation with 23 goals last season.

Wilkie is the fourth Tiger to sign a professional contract this summer, joining Nick Halloran, who inked a deal with the AHL's Ontario Reign in May, and Alex Berardinelli and Andrew Gaus, who signed with the ECHL's Wichita Thunder and Wheeling Nailers, respectively.
