USAFA — Sophomore Brad Roberts, a Ralston Valley product, rushed for 177 yards and three touchdowns as Air Force overcame three second-half turnovers to beat New Mexico 28-0 on Friday night at Falcon Stadium.

The win gave head coach Troy Calhoun his 100th career victory as the leading man for the Falcons.

Air Force scored a touchdown on its first three possession of the game while New Mexico punted on three of its first four, along with a fumble.

The Falcons fumbled it on three straight drives in the second half, but New Mexico followed each with a missed field goal.

Air Force will be back in action from Falcon Stadium next week for a Thanksgiving tilt against in-state rival Colorado State, Thursday, Nov. 26. Kickoff against the Rams is set for noon.
