ENGLEWOOD — The Denver Broncos welcomed the San Francisco 49ers for the first day of joint practices before their game at Mile High on Monday night.

It was also a day of reunions at Dove Valley on Friday.

Peyton Manning and Mike Shanahan, the father of 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan, were both in attendance.

Broncos offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello also met up with his old team, as he coached in San Francisco from 2017-2018.

As for the play on the field, the Fangio defense was difficult to contain. But on the offensive side of the ball, the play looked down right awful at times.

Quarterback Joe Flacco even went as far to say it was a below average for the Denver offense.
