Boise State gets revenge on Air Force basketball in 71-49 win

USAFA — Two days after winning their first Mountain West Conference game of the season by the largest margin of victory ever since joining the conference, Air Force women's basketball dropped a 71-49 contest to Boise State, Friday afternoon, in Clune Arena.

The win splits the week series between the two teams with Air Force dropping to 3-6, 1-3 MW, while the Broncos improved to 6-1, 3-1 MW.

Junior guard Briana Autrey-Thompson led the Falcons with 19 points while shooting 54-percent from the floor and 100-percent from the free throw line (4-4).

Boise State had four players score in the double-digits, led by Jade Loville's 18 points on a 50-percent shooting night.

Abby Muse led the game with eight rebounds and seven blocks.

Mary Kay Naro scored 14 points and had a game-high six assists. The Broncos shot 51-percent on the game, highlighted by a hot first quarter where they shot 58-percent.

Air Force continues Mountain West action next week in Laramie, Wyoming, where they will take on the Cowgirls in a two-game series, January 16 and 18, in Arena Auditorium.

Tip-off time has yet to be determined.
