PITTSBURGH — Sophomore Alex Schilling posted his first career shutout as Air Force defeated Robert Morris, 2-0, in an Atlantic Hockey Association game Friday, Nov. 22, at the RMU Island Sports Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. Air Force has won four straight games, the fourth-longest active winning in the nation. Robert Morris (7-5-0 overall, 7-2-0 AHA) entered the game in first place in the conference and was receiving votes in the nation polls.

“I think we played a great 60-minute game tonight,” head coach Frank Serratore said. “You never want to go down 6-on-3 at the end, but we had guys making sacrifices, blocking shots and our goalie made some big saves. I am so proud of the guys. They were dialed in. We were good tonight. That is what winning hockey looks like.”

The same two teams conclude the two-game league series Saturday, Nov. 23, at 7:05 pm ET in Pittsburgh, Pa.
