Air Force to play Washington State in Cheez-It Bowl

USAFA — The No. 24 ranked Air Force football team will be going bowling this year in the desert.

The Falcons have been selected to play in the Cheez-It Bowl on Friday, Dec. 27, at 8:15 p.m. MT at Chase Field in downtown Phoenix, Ariz.

The game will be broadcasted on ESPN.

AFA will take on Washington State (6-6, 3-6 Pac-12) from the Pac-12 Conference.

Air Force matched the school record with a 7-1 mark in conference play, marking the first time the program has accomplished it in the Mountain West. The Falcons finished 7-1 in the Western Athletic Conference in 1985 and 1998
