COLORADO SPRINGS — The Mountain West Conference released its 2020 college football schedule Thursday and Air Force is slated to play six total games to go along with their two service academy matchups against Navy and Army.

Troy Calhoun's team will have an even split this year, with three home and three road games during the conference season.

"We were all thrilled to get that news because we all want to play football," Falcons senior wide receiver Ben Peterson said. "We came to play and a lot of guys were worried they might only get to play two games their senior year. To know we're going to get a full 8,9 10 games, that's going to be huge for us and we're chomping at the bit, getting ready to play."

Following a three-week break after Saturday's showdown with the Midshipmen, Air Force will open MWC play with a trip to San Jose State. The Academy will also travel to Wyoming and Utah State during the season.

A monster conference home opener is slated for Halloween when Air Force welcomes defending champion Boise State to Falcon Stadium. AFA also plays host to New Mexico and Colorado State towards the end of November.

If the Falcons are able to put together another impressive season, the Mountain West Conference championship is slated for Dec. 19th. Kickoff for the contests has not yet been determined.
