The Air Force men's basketball team (9-13, 3-7 MWC) fell to Fresno State (7-14, 3-7 MWC) 79-68 Tuesday night at Clune Arena.

Tied at 36 heading into the second half, the Falcons were outscored 43-32 in the final 20 minutes to drop their fourth straight game.

"It has been there at times just not consistent and hopefully we'll regroup and come back; I'm not giving up on them," head coach Dave Pilipovich said.

Senior Sid Tomes led Air Force with 16 points, with fellow Classmates Caleb Morris and Ryan Swan adding 15 and 14, respectively.

Perimeter defense continues to plague head coach Pilipovich's team, with AFA giving up 14 three-pointers on the night.

"In games like this when everyone is fighting to get out of a funk, you've got to be a little tougher and a little more disciplined to make a key play at an important time and at times we didn't do that," Pilipovich said.

The Falcons will have a week to make signifigant chances before heading West to play Nevada next Tuesday night. Tip-off is set for 9 p.m.
