SOUTHERN COLORADO — There are no two hotter teams in Southern Colorado than the Air Academy & Canon City girl's basketball team.
The Kadets (7-3) picked up an upset win at Palmer Ridge (8-3) on Friday night, 43 to 31.
It is Air Academy's 5th straight win as they hit the road to face Douglas County on Saturday.
For the Bears, they will travel to face Coronado on Saturday.
On the south side of Colorado Springs, the Canon City Tigers got out to a big lead in the first half, but the Harrison Panthers would not go away.
The Tigers would end up holding off the Panthers, 51 to 41.
Canon City will host Rampart on Monday, while Harrison will be on the road to face top-ranked TCA on Saturday.
