and last updated

We're keeping track of local southern Colorado restaurants, bars and coffee shops that are still open for business, offering delivery or take-out options for Coloradans during the COVID-19 crisis.

Now is the time to support local businesses if you're able to and enjoy great food at the same time!

In this week's #TakeoutTuesday, we are featuring Pizza Madness in Canon City (509 Main St).

Pizza Madness is a pizza restaurant with a 'cool factor'. Currently, their business has suffered dramatically with to COVID-19 shutting down their dine-in business, that features eclectic art and a bustling atmosphere.

Melissa Harris tells News 5 she has been ordering out from Pizza Madness every other week during the coronavirus pandemic.

"I absolutely love pizza, but I am gluten free and they have one of the very best I have ever tried," explained Harris. "They have the best salads - hands down - and ranch dressing. It's a locally owned small business owner. Beth, the owner, makes a point to get to know her customers."

Melissa says she drives 30 minutes to get Pizza Madness's pizza - it is that good.

Pizza Madness thanks their loyal customers during this difficult time.

They say they use only the freshest, highest quality ingredients and never ~ I mean never ~ compromise.

Per their website, Pizza Madness has been voted Best Pizza in Fremont County for the past 10 years.

Currently, they are open 7-days a week, from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (last call), but may start closing later - depending on demand.

Pizza Madness has their full menu available, and works with a local delivery service, Grub Runners, to deliver their food anywhere in Fremont County.
