As a locally owned and operated business, Bernie's take pride in serving their home-style southern food favorites such as fried chicken, chicken fried steak as well as American favorites including burgers, fries, and salads.
If you can't stop by for their breakfast, lunch, dinner, or brunch specials, they also offer takeout so that you can enjoy our amazing southern comfort food from your home.
Deryl Gregg tells News 5 that Bernie's Kitchen makes everything from scratch and how you like it.
"They used to grind their own meat for hamburgers, which are delicious," said Gregg. "They also have the very best chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steaks. Even the french fries are hand cut! The homemade pancakes - OMG. They use brisket in their hamburger patties and they have wonderful BBQ plates. I have never left there hungry."
The best part of Bernie's Kitchen for Deryl? How they are always giving back the community.
Bernie's offered food to anyone who needed it during the COVID-19 stay at home order, according to Gregg.
Bernie's Kitchen is opened 7-days a week, Monday through Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. & Sunday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
