Congressman Doug Lamborn sent a letter to Gov. Jared Polis, urging him to include religious leaders in the bottom of half of the Phase 1B distribution plan.
A statement from Lamborn's office regarding the letter cites "places of worship have worked tirelessly to provide comfort and spiritual care to individuals and communities."
Gov. Jared Polis announced Friday afternoon the expansion of vaccine distribution in Colorado to include educators and people 65 and older starting February 8. Plus, faith leaders will be included in Phase 1B.3, potentially beginning in March.
