CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland Police Department is investigating a homicide after a body was found dismembered and burning early Wednesday morning.
According to a press release from the department, the body was located in the city’s South Collinwood neighborhood in the area of Larchmont and Clermont roads.

Officers responded to the scene at about 4 a.m. after receiving a report of a brush fire near a set of train tracks.
When police arrived, they say they located the dismembered body on fire. The department’s homicide unit then responded to the scene, along with the medical examiner.
