Gianna Bryant, the daughter of NBA legend Kobe Bryant, had her jersey number retired on Wednesday at Harbor Day School. Gianna and her father were among nine killed in a helicopter crash into a hillside in Southern California last week.

Gianna was en route to a youth basketball tournament when the helicopter crashed.

Gianna's mom Vanessa Bryant posted photos and videos on her Instagram of the ceremony on Wednesday.

Gianna's No. 2 jersey will never be worn again at Harbor Day school.

"I love you! I miss you. You’ve taught us all that no act of kindness is ever too small. Mommy is still and will ALWAYS be so proud of you mamacita," Vanessa Bryant wrote.
