Subaru recalls some 2019 vehicles due to valve issue

Subaru has announced a recall of some 2019 model year Crosstrek, Forester, and Ascent vehicles.

The automaker says there is a problem with a valve that can separate, sending fragments into the engine and causing it to stall.

The unexpected loss of power while driving can increase the risk of a crash.

Subaru will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the valve at no cost to the owner.
