It's School Choice week and many local districts will be taking part.

Throughout the week, students will be taking part in events and celebrations to highlight all types of schools for kids.

At School District 11's Wasson Odessey Campus, students earn college credit.

"I definitely think there are a lot of choices out there, and I definitely think that every student needs a right fit for who they are individually and what their needs are. There's always some place out there for anybody," said student, Crystal Funtenatto.

It's estimated that more than 13 million Americans will take part in events across the country this week.
